Michael Mayr
Michael Mayr has 15+ years of experience in EU and Austrian and international competition law. He has been involved in some of the largest and most complex merger transactions reviewed by the European Commission and national competition regulators in a range of sectors, including basic industries, energy, transport and logistics, aviation, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, media, telecommunications, digital services, or software. He also regularly advises on cartel, dominance, and State aid law as well as on Austrian investment control law.
Michael spent most of his career in Brussels and Cologne before founding MMRA, a boutique law firm specialising in EU and Austrian competition law and investment control in 2021.
Michael is based in Vienna, Austria.
